Last Minute Turkey Day Activities {Another Freebie, too!}

We made our turkeys who are flapping around in our classroom as we speak!

This poem/song is always a favorite with students.  It is such a great phonemic awareness activity!  My students are now substituting all beginning sounds with t and it is hilarious (as well as great practice for them!).
And, just because we love these puzzles so much, I made another one for my babes to put together tomorrow and thought I'd share it with you, too.  Hope you like it!  I am thinking (now that my students are PROfessionals at this activity) that I can now add this activity as a staple center for building sentences during literacy time and working with numbers during math centers!

A wonderful idea of incorporating ten-frames with a seasonal theme. Last time I downloaded your roll two dice acorn activity. Thanks for making learning fun.

As I said on the Freebielicious blog...I just had the best time coloring your cornucopia for my classroom. I can't wait for the kids to take a crack at this and then cut apart and have fun putting back together. I just wonder if they might realize the ten frames at the bottom and put together that way. Friday may tell! Thanks for your art work!

We made the Goofy turkeys this week. They turned out so cute we had to put them on our hall bulletin board. Thanks so much!
