Next, they each will need a close up balck and white photocopy of their face to cut out and attach to the Frankenstein head template. The students will color his or her (and Frank's) face/heads green and write their name on both of the blanks on the template. You can put all of the children's pages together to create a Monster-riffic class book that the children can read (or sing, if they choose, of course!) using the cover that is also included in the kit.
This is simply a black and white paper copy of a 5x7 (you might need 8x10 depending on how close the child's face is in the picture, cut out and colored with a green crayon. The child fills his or her name in the blanks based on the poem (also a printable included in this freebie) to make a page of a class book that can be covered with the page below (included as well!).

What a great idea- plan on using it- just can't download!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Cheryl, I'm doing it tomorrow with my little ones (if we can fit in a little fun, that is!). Teresa, Thanks...did you try clicking "Download Original"? The new google docs seems to be a bit finicky! Hope it works...if not, let me know and I can send you the doc via email! A freebie is no good if you can't retrieve it! :)
