Apple Science Printable FREEBIE

We went apple picking this week and it was PERFECT:  the weather couldn't have been better, the apples couldn't have been juicier and the children couldn't have been better behaved or had more fun!
When we come back to the classroom (armed with a huge bag of apples, of course!), we have lots of activities to do based on our trip and the apples.  Below, I am sharing my Apple Science/Math sheet for you to try with your students.  I give each student an apple and they have to estimate and record how many seeds they think the apple has.  Next, I cut each child's apple in half and they have to dig out the seeds.  They count and record how many seeds the apple actually has.  Then they have to glue the seeds down in the correct place (hopefully you have already used my free Top Secret Gluing Techniques Kit before your students attempt this one!).  Click below to download my free sheet:

Also, for those who haven't grabbed it yet, you can teach your students how to draw an apple using my FREE Directed Drawing kit here.
